Description

A simple and delicious recipe for Creamy Ranch Chicken, featuring tender chicken breasts baked in a rich and flavorful ranch cream sauce.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 (1 ounce) packet dry ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 (8 ounce) block cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup milk or chicken broth

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Pat chicken breasts dry with paper towels. Season lightly with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken breasts for 2-3 minutes per side until lightly browned. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet (or a separate saucepan), melt the softened cream cheese over medium heat. Whisk in the dry ranch seasoning mix until smooth.
  5. Gradually whisk in the milk or chicken broth until the sauce is creamy and smooth.
  6. Return the seared chicken breasts to the skillet, nestling them into the ranch sauce. Ensure they are coated.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165°F (74°C) and is cooked through.
  8. Remove from oven and let rest for a few minutes before serving. Spoon extra sauce over chicken.

Notes

  • Ensure the cream cheese is fully softened for a smooth sauce.
  • Adjust the amount of milk or broth to achieve your desired sauce consistency.
  • Serve with your favorite sides like pasta, rice, or vegetables.
