Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 (1 ounce) packet dry ranch seasoning mix
- 1 (8 ounce) block cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup milk or chicken broth
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Pat chicken breasts dry with paper towels. Season lightly with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken breasts for 2-3 minutes per side until lightly browned. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet (or a separate saucepan), melt the softened cream cheese over medium heat. Whisk in the dry ranch seasoning mix until smooth.
- Gradually whisk in the milk or chicken broth until the sauce is creamy and smooth.
- Return the seared chicken breasts to the skillet, nestling them into the ranch sauce. Ensure they are coated.
