Description

An easy and delicious crockpot appetizer featuring mini cocktail sausages simmered in a sweet and tangy barbecue sauce.

Ingredients

  • Two 12-14 ounce packages of mini cocktail sausages
  • 1½ cups barbecue sauce
  • ½ cup packed brown sugar
  • ½ cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Place the cocktail sausages directly into your slow cooker.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the barbecue sauce, brown sugar, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, and garlic powder until thoroughly combined.
  3. Pour this flavorful sauce mixture over the little smokies, ensuring they are well coated.
  4. Cover the slow cooker and allow the sausages to simmer on low heat for 2 to 3 hours, or until they are heated through and the sauce has melded beautifully. Serve warm as a delightful appetizer.
