Description
A quick and flavorful skillet dish featuring boneless chicken thighs seasoned and cooked until golden, then tossed in a creamy, sweet, and spicy Bang Bang sauce made with mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, and honey.
Ingredients
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- ¼ cup sweet chili sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar
- 1 tablespoon honey
- Pinch of salt
- Sliced green onions, for garnish
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, toss the chicken pieces with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned chicken and cook for approximately 4-5 minutes per side, or until the chicken is no longer pink and is nicely browned.
- While the chicken cooks, prepare the Bang Bang sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, rice wine vinegar, and honey. Add a pinch of salt and stir until thoroughly combined.
- Once the chicken is fully cooked, remove the skillet from the heat. Add 2 tablespoons of the prepared Bang Bang sauce to the chicken in the skillet and toss to coat.
- Serve the chicken immediately, drizzled with the remaining Bang Bang sauce. Garnish with sliced green onions for a fresh finish.
Notes
- This recipe is quick and ideal for weeknight dinners.
- Adjust the sauce sweetness by adding more honey if desired.
