Description

A quick and flavorful skillet dish featuring boneless chicken thighs seasoned and cooked until golden, then tossed in a creamy, sweet, and spicy Bang Bang sauce made with mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, and honey.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • Pinch of salt
  • Sliced green onions, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, toss the chicken pieces with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned chicken and cook for approximately 4-5 minutes per side, or until the chicken is no longer pink and is nicely browned.
  3. While the chicken cooks, prepare the Bang Bang sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, rice wine vinegar, and honey. Add a pinch of salt and stir until thoroughly combined.
  4. Once the chicken is fully cooked, remove the skillet from the heat. Add 2 tablespoons of the prepared Bang Bang sauce to the chicken in the skillet and toss to coat.
  5. Serve the chicken immediately, drizzled with the remaining Bang Bang sauce. Garnish with sliced green onions for a fresh finish.

Notes

  • This recipe is quick and ideal for weeknight dinners.
  • Adjust the sauce sweetness by adding more honey if desired.
  • Serve with rice or vegetables for a complete meal.
