Ingredients
- 2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda

- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- ¾ cup packed light brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In a large bowl, beat butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and creamy.
- Add vanilla extract and eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Stir in chocolate chips.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto prepared baking sheets, about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 9-11 minutes, or until edges are golden brown and centers are slightly soft.
