Description

A simple and decadent no-bake treat made from crushed Golden Oreo cookies mixed with cream cheese, dipped in melted white chocolate, and optionally decorated with sprinkles.

Ingredients

  • 1 (15.25 ounce) package Golden Oreo cookies (about 36 cookies)
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 16 ounces white chocolate melting wafers
  • Optional: Yellow or gold sprinkles, for decorating

Instructions

  1. Place the Golden Oreo cookies in a food processor and pulse until finely crushed. Alternatively, place them in a zip-top bag and crush with a rolling pin.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the crushed Oreos and softened cream cheese. Mix until well combined and a dough forms.
  3. Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Refrigerate the Oreo balls for at least 30 minutes, or freeze for 15 minutes, until firm.
  5. Melt the white chocolate melting wafers according to package directions (microwave or double boiler).
  6. Dip each chilled Oreo ball into the melted white chocolate, allowing excess chocolate to drip off. Place back on the parchment-lined baking sheet.
  7. Immediately sprinkle with optional yellow or gold sprinkles before the chocolate sets.
  8. Refrigerate until the chocolate is firm. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

Notes

  • Ensure the cream cheese is fully softened for easy mixing.
  • Chilling the balls thoroughly is crucial so they hold their shape when dipped in chocolate.
  • If the melted chocolate thickens while working, reheat it briefly according to package instructions.
