Description

A simple and delicious grilled salmon recipe, perfect for a healthy and quick meal.

Ingredients

  • 4 (6 ounce) salmon fillets, skin on or off
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 400-450°F or 200-230°C).
  2. Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, dried dill, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Brush both sides of the salmon fillets with the olive oil mixture.
  5. Lightly oil the grill grates to prevent sticking.
  6. Place the salmon fillets skin-side down (if applicable) on the preheated grill.
  7. Grill for 4-6 minutes per side, depending on thickness, until the salmon is opaque and flakes easily with a fork. For skin-on, cook mostly skin-side down until crispy, then flip for a minute or two to finish.
  8. Remove from the grill and serve immediately with extra lemon wedges if desired.

Notes

  • Adjust grilling time based on the thickness of your salmon fillets.
  • Ensure the grill grates are clean and well-oiled to prevent sticking.
  • For extra flavor, you can add other herbs like parsley or chives.
