Description

Oven-baked sliders inspired by the classic Big Mac, featuring Hawaiian sweet rolls, seasoned ground beef, cheese, pickles, onions, lettuce, and special sauce for a mini burger experience.

Ingredients

  • 12 Hawaiian sweet rolls, split horizontally
  • 1 pound ground beef, cooked and seasoned
  • 8-10 slices American cheese
  • Dill pickle slices
  • Finely chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
  • Shredded iceberg lettuce
  • Big Mac Special Sauce (store-bought or homemade)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Arrange the bottom halves of the Hawaiian rolls, cut-side up, on the prepared baking sheet.
  3. Evenly spread a layer of Big Mac sauce over the bottom buns.
  4. Distribute the cooked ground beef over the sauce. Top with American cheese slices, dill pickle slices, and the chopped onion.
  5. Place the top halves of the rolls over the toppings. Brush the tops and sides of the buns with melted butter, then sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  6. Bake for about 10 minutes, or until the top buns are golden brown and the cheese is thoroughly melted.
  7. Carefully lift the top buns, add shredded lettuce, then replace the tops. Cut into individual sliders and serve immediately with extra Big Mac sauce on the side.

Notes

  • Ground beef should be cooked and seasoned with salt and pepper to taste before assembly.
  • For homemade Big Mac sauce, mix mayonnaise, ketchup, relish, vinegar, sugar, and onion powder.
  • These sliders are best served warm and fresh from the oven.
