Description
A simple, no-cook cranberry relish made with fresh cranberries, orange, and sugar, perfect for holiday meals.
Ingredients
- 12 ounces fresh cranberries
- 1 medium orange (skin on)
- 1 cup granulated sugar
Instructions
- Begin by preparing your orange: gently remove a thin slice from both ends, just enough to reveal the fruit’s flesh. Keep the peel on for a burst of citrus aroma and slice the orange into eight manageable wedges.
- Into your food processor, combine the fresh cranberries, the prepared orange wedges, and the granulated sugar.
- Pulse the mixture until it reaches your desired consistency – you want it finely chopped but still with some texture, avoiding a completely smooth puree.
- Transfer the vibrant relish to an airtight container. For optimal flavor melding, refrigerate for a minimum of one hour before serving.
Notes
- This relish can be made ahead and stored in the refrigerator for up to a week.
- Adjust sugar to taste for a less sweet version.
