Description

A fun and festive Spider Taco Ring made with ground beef, taco seasoning, and crescent rolls, perfect for Halloween or any themed party.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 (1 ounce) packet taco seasoning mix
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 (8 ounce) cans refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • Optional toppings: shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, black olives, sour cream

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 375°F. Spray a large round pizza pan or baking sheet with cooking spray.
  2. In a large skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned; drain.
  3. Stir in taco seasoning mix and water. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Unroll both cans of crescent dough. Separate into 16 triangles.
  5. Arrange triangles in a circle on the prepared pan with wide ends overlapping and points toward the outside. There should be a 5-inch opening in the center.
  6. Spoon beef mixture onto the widest part of each triangle. Sprinkle with cheese.
  7. Fold pointed ends of triangles over filling toward the center, tucking points under to form a ring.
  8. Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. To create the spider, cut black olive halves to form spider legs and arrange on the crescent roll ring. Place two whole black olive halves for the eyes.
  10. Serve warm with desired taco toppings.

Notes

  • Ensure the crescent roll triangles are arranged with a gap in the center to allow for easy folding.
  • Adjust baking time based on your oven.
  • Get creative with the spider’s features using different toppings.
