Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 12 oz fresh green beans, trimmed
- 0.25 cup honey
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp cornstarch mixed with 1 tsp water
Instructions
- Season the chicken cubes with salt and pepper, then sauté them in a large skillet with olive oil until fully cooked and golden.
- Remove the chicken and add the green beans to the same pan with a splash of water, covering to steam for 4-5 minutes until tender-crisp.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic.
- Push the beans to the side and pour the honey mixture into the center of the pan, adding the cornstarch slurry to thicken it.
- Return the chicken to the pan and toss everything together until the sauce is glossy and coats every piece.
